Matcha Ceremonial FAQs
For maximum freshness, keep your matcha tin tightly sealed in the refrigerator. If you are using our 50g Refill Pouches, we recommend transferring the powder to an airtight tin or keeping the pouch sealed in a cool, dark place away from moisture and strong odors.
While a traditional bamboo whisk is perfect for a frothy, authentic matcha, it isn't strictly necessary. You can easily blend this fine powder using an electric milk frother or simply shake it vigorously in a bottle for your iced lattes.
Yes. Our matcha is sourced directly from the first harvest in Izumo, Japan, and undergoes rigorous independent testing.
It is grown and processed to meet strict EU regulations for pesticides and heavy metals, so you can sip your daily matcha with complete peace of mind.
Our Ceremonial Grade designation means we only use the youngest, most tender leaves from the first spring harvest (Ichibancha).
These leaves are carefully shade-grown to maximize chlorophyll and ground into an ultra-fine powder, resulting in a vibrant green color, a natural sweetness, and zero bitter aftertaste.
The main difference is the origin. Our standard Ceremonial Matcha is grown in Japan, while our Heritage Edition is sourced from historic tea estates in China.
Both are ceremonial grade, first-harvest teas with a vibrant green color.
While they share a smooth, non-bitter foundation, the Chinese Heritage Edition offers a slightly bolder flavour profile.
