Our Story

While PoppaTea officially launched in Sweden in 2025, our roots go all the way back to 2013. For over a decade, our founder, Dean, has immersed himself in the tea industry, cultivating a deep and trusting relationship with the Japanese supplier who makes our tea possible today.

Charity

In addition to planting a tree for every order placed on our website we donate 1% of our turnover to charity.

We are a member of 1% For The Planet. This a third party company that checks in on us every year to verify our donations and find charitable partners.

Environment

We help to fund reforestation projects for every order placed on our website. We decided to do this to offset carbon emissions for shipments.

At Poppatea we prioritize quality over quantity with everything that we do. Our product range is not extensive as we believe true value lies not in the number of items produced, but in the quality & satisfaction of our customers.
