Our story
More than a decade in tea.
PoppaTea officially launched in Sweden in 2025, but our story started much earlier. Since 2013, our founder, Dean, has worked in the tea industry and built a long-standing relationship with the Japanese supplier who helps make PoppaTea possible today.
That experience shaped how we do things: keep the range focused, choose products for taste and quality, and give customers clear information about what they are buying.

Tea can be confusing. We aim to make differences in taste, origin and use easy to understand so customers can choose with confidence.

We are a member of 1% for the Planet and donate 1% of our turnover to charity. Our giving is reviewed as part of the membership programme.
